Senior commercial construction owner's representative serving mid-market owners across Los Angeles and Southern California.
Schedule a Conversation →My name is Ramon Owens. I've spent my career in commercial construction project management — working on complex, high-profile projects alongside some of the most respected firms in the industry. I've managed budgets, schedules, and teams across multiple sectors. I know what rigorous owner advocacy looks like when it's done right.
I also know who gets left out.
Mid-market commercial owners — the companies building meaningful projects that don't meet the minimum threshold for the big firms' full attention — often end up with a diluted version of the service they're paying for. A junior representative. A standardized process that doesn't fit their project. Access to senior judgment only when things have already gone wrong.
I started Ramon Owens Consulting because I believe that gap is worth closing. Based in Los Angeles, CA, I serve owners across Southern California — Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, San Luis Obispo, and surrounding counties.
I've worked across the commercial construction landscape — corporate headquarters, mixed-use developments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, retail buildouts. Different sectors, different delivery methods, different jurisdictions. What carries across all of it is the same thing: the discipline to manage cost, schedule, and risk on behalf of an owner who has real money on the line and deserves someone paying close attention.
I use the same methodologies, the same rigor, and the same standards you'd get from a major program management firm. The difference is that you get me doing the work — not a team member you've never met executing a templated playbook.
I'm a solo operator by choice, not by circumstance.
When a firm scales, attention gets distributed. The senior person who sold you the engagement moves to the next pursuit. The institutional knowledge lives in a system, not in a person. The client ends up doing more coordination than they should.
I chose a different model. Every client I take on gets my direct attention — my eyes on the site, my name on every document, my number when something comes up. I take on fewer projects at a time because that's what doing this right requires. That's not a limitation. That's the point.
These aren't aspirational statements. They're the operating principles I hold myself to on every project — whether it's a corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, a healthcare facility in Orange County, or a mixed-use development anywhere across Southern California.
If that sounds like the kind of oversight your project needs, I'd like to talk.
